1. Summary
This report provides a statistical analysis of the Salem Campus enrollment for the Fall 13 Term. The Salem Campus experienced a 1.76% decrease in student headcount;
1,846 students in Fall 13 compared to 1,879 students in Fall 12 for a net decrease of 33 students. Undergraduate enrollment decreased by 1.81% (-34 students) and graduate
enrollment increased by 100% (1 students).
Student FTE decrease by 11.74%; the Salem Campus generated 136.53 less FTE compared to Fall 12. Undergraduate FTE decreased by 11.75% (-136.60 FTE) and
graduate FTE increased by 21.21% (0.07 FTE).
The undergraduate mean unit load (MUL) is 8.34 compared to 9.28 in Fall 12. Graduate MUL is 3.00 compared to last year's 5.00 and the campus MUL is 8.34 compared to
9.28 last year.
Note: During Spring and Fall terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 15; during Summer terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 30.
