1. Summary
This report provides a statistical analysis of the Kent Campus enrollment for the Summer I&II 10 Term. The Kent Campus experienced a 4.64% increase in student
headcount; 8,090 students in Summer I&II 10 compared to 7,731 students in Summer I&II 09 for a net increase of 359 students. Undergraduate enrollment increased by
9.04% (417 students) and graduate enrollment decreased by 1.86% (-58 students).
Student FTE increased by 5.29%; the Kent Campus generated 69.47 more FTE compared to Summer I&II 09. Undergraduate FTE increased by 9.10% (67.63 FTE) and
graduate FTE increased by .32% (1.84 FTE).
The undergraduate mean unit load (MUL) is 4.84 compared to 4.83 in Summer I&II 09. Graduate MUL is 5.61 compared to last year's 5.49 and the campus MUL is 5.13
compared to 5.10 last year.
Note: During Spring and Fall terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 15; during Summer terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 30.
