1. Summary
This report provides a statistical analysis of the Kent Campus enrollment for the Summer III 10 Term. The Kent Campus experienced a 14.67% increase in student
headcount; 4,033 students in Summer III 10 compared to 3,517 students in Summer III 09 for a net increase of 516 students. Undergraduate enrollment increased by 17.03%
(363 students) and graduate enrollment increased by 11.05% (153 students).
Student FTE increased by 15.04%; the Kent Campus generated 74.60 more FTE compared to Summer III 09. Undergraduate FTE increased by 16.55% (44.93 FTE) and
graduate FTE increased by 13.21% (29.67 FTE).
The undergraduate mean unit load (MUL) is 3.80 compared to 3.82 in Summer III 09. Graduate MUL is 4.96 compared to last year's 4.86 and the campus MUL is 4.24
compared to 4.23 last year.
Note: During Spring and Fall terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 15; during Summer terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 30.
