1. Summary
This report provides a statistical analysis of the Kent Campus enrollment for the Spring 12 Term. The Kent Campus experienced a 3.58% increase in student headcount;
26,668 students in Spring 12 compared to 25,747 students in Spring 11 for a net increase of 921 students. Undergraduate enrollment increased by 3.38% (689 students) and
graduate enrollment increased by 4.32% (232 students).
Student FTE increase by 3.95%; the Kent Campus generated 822.80 more FTE compared to Spring 11. Undergraduate FTE increased by 4.03% (724.86 FTE) and graduate
FTE increased by 3.43% (97.94 FTE).
The undergraduate mean unit load (MUL) is 13.33 compared to 13.25 in Spring 11. Graduate MUL is 7.90 compared to last year's 7.97 and the campus MUL is 12.19
compared to 12.15 last year.
Note: During Spring and Fall terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 15; during Summer terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 30.
