SHRM conducted a far-reaching research study to define the knowledge and competencies required of today’s HR professionals. The result is the SHRM HR competency model; identifying nine foundational competencies HR professionals need for success: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. It can also provide a guide for those that might be considering HR as a career path, giving them a clear idea about what it takes to be successful.
