INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, WARREN COUNTY LIST OF CURRENT MUNICIPAL PLANNING AND REGULATORY DOCUMENTS The Township’s last Master Plan was adopted in June 1982 and was prepared by David P. Zimmerman, P.P. and included the following Elements: Natural Resources Population Existing Land Use and Zoning Housing Plan Utilities Plan Circulation Plan Land Use Plan The 1988 Reexamination Report revised the Master Plan to include revised Goals, expanded on the Natural Resources section, and addressed new topics including: Recreation and Parks, Historic Preservation, Stormwater Management, Recycling, Economic Development, and Growth Management. It was adopted in June 1998 and was prepared by John A. Madden, Jr., P.P The 1994 Reexamination Report condensed the Natural Resources section into a Conservation Plan Element, and created a Historic Preservation Plan Element, a Housing Plan Element, and a Recycling Plan element and updated the Land Use Plan. It was adopted April 17, 1995 and was prepared by David P. Zimmerman, P.P./AICP The 2000 Reexamination Report updated the Land Use Plan element. It was adopted March 20, 2000 and was prepared by David P. Zimmerman, P.P./AICP The 2002 Reexamination Report updated the Land Use Plan element, the Economic Base section, the Utilities Plan, and Recycling Plan. This report also includes a new Hydrogeologic Plan Element and a section on Topography. It was adopted March 18, 2002 and was prepared by David P. Zimmerman, P.P./AICP The 2003 Amendment Reexamination Report updated the Land Use Plan element was adopted March 31, 2003 and was prepared by David P. Zimmerman, P.P./AICP. Housing Plan Element and Fair Share Plan was adopted on June 7, 2010 and was prepared by David Banisch, PP/AICP Chapter 255 Land Development adopted by Independence Township Committee January 29, 1979 and as amended
