1. Kathryn Wilhoff distributed the activity summary for June/July. Discussion
was held.
2. Susan Campbell inquired about the Pray-Harrold project and the moves at
Mark Jefferson. Kathryn Wilhoff reported the furniture is scheduled for deliver
around August 6 & 7. The Mark Jefferson moves have changed somewhat.
When the Pray-Harrold occupants move out of King, then Psychology will
move into that space. The remainder of the MJ moves will take place in
September.
3. Kathryn Wilhoff reported that the Roosevelt range clean-up is going well.
Asbestos abatement activities are starting to ramp up for various areas on
campus.
4. Susan Campbell asked about the AED program status. Kathryn Wilhoff
stated the program is waiting for funding, but DPS will be receiving five (5)
new AEDs.
5. Chris Kropelnyckyj reported that Mark Wesley has completed the initial report
on the Mass Casualty exercise and has it out for comment.
6. Orville Gregg reported that he and Dieter Otto are working on updating job
descriptions and training requirements.
7. Kevin Lawson stated that Student Center is in the process of hiring out the
cleaning of the windows and that EHS has provided the requirements.

8. Kathryn Wilhoff stated that the funds for the box for the pond rescue
equipment are no longer available. The equipment has been purchased but
needs to be properly stored. Kevin will continue to work on getting the
storage box.
9. Steve Pernecky inquired about the next hazardous chemical waste pick-up
date. The next pick up is August 22.
10. Ellen Bernard reported the status of the on-line safety awareness training.
The only issue of major concern is the access ability of student employees.
11. Jason Smith reported that the new Public Safety website is in process and
that content is scheduled to be added next month.
12. Jason Smith stated that the COOP is moving slowly. EM is shifting their
focus from the divisional plans to the university wide plan.
13. Orville Gregg inquired about the broken fluorescent tube cleaning procedure.
Orville also stated that there are tubes hiding in various locations and no one
know how to handle them. Kathryn Wilhoff stated that the procedure is in the
final stages of completion.
14. Kevin Lawson reported that six (6) people had received forklift training at
Central Stores including one from the Student Center.
