2009 – MA research: “Forming of common external energy policy of the
European Union”
The research is consists of such tasks as:
- to consider historical pre-conditions of forming the common external energy
policy of the European Union and its methodological basis;
- to analyze legal framework of regulation and to define the competence of the
European Union institutions in the energy sphere;
- to determine energy potential of the European Union;
- to describe the development of collaboration with the European Union strategic
energy partners;
- to analyze the main purposes and priorities of the European Union’s external
energy policy;
- to find out main threats and necessary ways of providing energy security in the
European Union;

to compare the main energy resources of diversification and the ways its supply
to the European Union;
to find out the perspectives and ways of introduction the common external
energy policy of the European Union.
2008 – Papers: “Effective steps in energy security that Ukraine needs
today”, “European energy safety: chance to develop the “common voice”
of the EU”.
2007 – BA research: “Ukrainian energy security in the context of new
world calls”.
The research is consists of such tasks as:
- to expose the essence of “energy security” concept as one of the strategic
priority of national safety policy;
- to outline primary purposes, principles and measures on supply of the Ukrainian
energy security and it neighbors such as Russia and the European Union;
- to define energy potential of the Ukraine and outline the major energy security
constituents of the state;
- to analyze the development of external collaboration in the energy sphere and set
the strategic energy partners of the Ukraine;
- to set causes of the violation of strategic balance Ukrainian-Russian and
Russian-Byelorussian interests in the gas and oil sphere on the basis of world
energy crisis analysis;
- to trace the energy opposition and define the consequences of sharpening
Ukrainian-Russian and the Russian-Byelorussian relations;
- to clarify the main Ukrainian energy policy’s directions in securing its energy
safety Ukrainian taking into account the advantages and drawbacks of Ukrainian
position on the international energy markets.
