Rajiv Bawa Chief Corporate Affairs Office ‐ dtac Rajiv Bawa, has been appointed as the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of dtac in Thailand. He will be responsible for government relations, regulatory and legal within dtac. Prior to this he was the Chief Representative Officer for Telenor Group in India, where he was responsible for Telenor Group’s external and strategic affairs in India. In this role he worked with the Telenor Group’s Asia head to drive Telenor Group’s reputation and future strategy in India. He also provided the Unino r(Telenor’s India operations) leadership and management team advice on all strategic, regulatory, governmental and corporate matters. Rajiv had also been part of Uninor leadership team, as the Chief Corporate Affairs Office, since the company’s inception. Rajiv has over 22 years of consulting, sales and management experience in variety of industries globally. Before joining Uninor Rajiv was based in the US where his experiences included strong international business knowledge in emerging markets, M&A, and startups. He has held a variety of consulting, sales and strategy leadership positions within IBM focusing on sectors such as FMCG, distribution and technology services. He has also lived in Japan, where he was a part of the executive steering group of a large FMCG company implementing a business transformation and ERP project. During the peak of the dot com days in the US, Rajiv was the director of marketing and business development of a software startup organization. He has a Masters in Computer Science from University of Maryland and a certificate in management from Wharton School of Business. Bachelor of Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India.
