Mr Rajiv Bawa serves as acting Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for DTAC and
Telenor Group Chief Representative for India. In this capacity he is responsible
for all of Telenor Group’s external and strategic affairs in these markets. Prior to
this he was the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Telenor’s India operations
Uninor since its inception in 2009. Prior to joining Uninor, Rajiv was based in the
US where his experiences included strong international business knowledge in
emerging markets, M&A, and startups. He has held a variety of consulting, sales
and strategy leadership positions within IBM focusing on sectors such as FMCG,
distribution, outsourcing and technology services. He also has experience from
business transformation projects in Japan where he has lived as well. Rajiv holds a Masters in
Computer Science from University of Maryland and a certificate in management from Wharton
School of Business.
