Mohd Fadhillah Mohd Nor Head of Digital Communities Department Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Mohd Fadhillah is Head of Digital Communities Department in MCMC where he directly involves in the implementation and concept of Smart Digital Communities across the states which includes the development of content and applications. Previously, he was in Planning and Development Department under Universal Service Provision (USP) Division where his task is to study, plan and prepare for new projects, undertaking impact study, develop and issuance of USP related tender documents, e.g. expansion of cellular coverage nationwide and the establishment of submarine fiber optic cable between Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia. Prior to joining MCMC in 1999, he was an engineer of Network Engineering Division, in Time Telecommunication company responsible for switching and numbering. He graduated with B. Eng. in Electronic from the University of Science Malaysia. About MCMC The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is a statutory body established under the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Act 1998 (MCMCA) which implements and promotes the Government's national policy objectives for the communications and multimedia sector. MCMC regulates and promotes the development of the communications and multimedia industry which includes telecommunications, broadcasting, and online activities, postal services and digital certification. The Communication and Multimedia Act provides that MCMC undertakes a policy implementation role, while policy decision-making is vested with the Minister.
