HemostrecentlyservedatSingbridgeInternational,aSingaporegovernment‐linked
companyspecializinginsustainableurbandevelopmentprojects.Whilethere,he
workedactivelytocollaboratewithgovernmentsininfluencingpolicy‐makingin
areassuchasurbanandeconomicdevelopment.
Aformerdiplomat,Jia‐RongworkedforSingapore'sMinistryofForeignAffairsand
servedasFirstSecretary(Political)attheSingaporeEmbassyinHanoi.Jia‐Rongis
veryfamiliarwiththeregion,havingrepresentedSingaporeinengagingtheregion's
governmentssuchasThailand,Myanmar,andthePhilippines.
AWorldTradeOrganization‐(WTO)certifiedtradeexpert,Jia‐Ronghasalsoworked
extensivelywithfinancialinstitutionsliketheInternationalMoneyFundandthe
AsianDevelopmentBank.
