Yogesh Jiandani is CTO for the Global Service Provider (GSP) segment at Cisco.
Yogesh's 10+ year career at Cisco is rooted in the design and deployment of
telecommunications networks. He is responsible for developing and managing the India
and SAARC SP segment vision and strategy. He works closely with the CxOs in the top
telecom operators to define the next wave of solutions to add value to their offerings,
reduce their operational expenses and drive agility in deploy new services.
He is an industry veteran career of 25+ years spans working with Telecommunications
and Service Provider (SP), Enterprise, Government, Defence and Sports, building large
scale networks.
He has worked across technologies like Evolved Programmable networks (EPN)
including SDN/NFV and Orchestration, Cloud and Data Centers including Analytics,
transport networks using MPLS, Metro Ethernet & Broadband, IPv6, Video networks
with IPTV etc.. He has designed and helped implement many city wide MANs, Data
Centers, SOC/NOC, ISP & MPLS VPN networks.
He is leading efforts in large scale Smart City builds & the Digital India program with the
SPs.
He has been speaking at several industry forums like LTE Asia, Cisco Live, APRICOT,
SANOG to name a few.
Prior to Cisco where he has spent 10+ years, Yogesh has been an entrepreneur, worked
with large organizations like IL&FS, Hughes, Microland and IDM in consulting and
management roles.
