Presidents, social chair and risk management chairs need to be there. o Elections -Letters of intent for and 2 letters of recommendation for VPM will be due November 6th. -Slate will be on November 13th at 7PM - Need one delegate from each chapter present. -Elections will be December 4th - If you cannot attend elections but still wish to run, you can have your letter read by a member of Executive Council. Research suggests we store information more securely when we write it out by hand than when we type it. Start by recopying the most important notes from the semester onto a new sheet of paper. -Joke: Why did the M&M go to school? Because he really wanted to be a Smartie! Vice President of External Affairs o No Report Vice President of Internal Affairs o Chapter of the Month – Alpha Sigma Tau is the chapter of the month o Affiliation Forms - Due Today - October 9, 2014. Make sure you get them in. o Dues – Will be due October 23, 2014. If your chapter turns in any affiliation forms after October 9, 2014 your chapter will receive additional charges on a rolling basis per member. o Panhellenic Pride Week –This year we will be holding our first ever Panhellenic Pride Week! -If you are interested on being on the Panhellenic Pride Week committee please feel free to contact me at kkaufhol@emich.edu Advisor Report o none Unfinished Business Delta Zeta proposes to amend Article XVII Section 3 Party Ban E. Active members may not attend any Registered or Un-registered parties as defined by Greek Social Policy beginning a week prior to Bid Day. 1. No active member may talk to a PNM at a registered party about recruitment and Greek Life is applied to any events involving alcohol and PNMs F. According to the Greek Social Policy, a party is defined A party is any gathering in which more than 20 attendees present are not affiliated with the host organization(s) and alcohol is present. E. Active members may not attend any Registered or Un-registered parties as defined by Greek Social Policy from Kick- Off to Bid Day. 1. No active member may talk to a PNM at a registered party about recruitment and Greek Life is applied to any events involving alcohol and PNMs F. Motion does not pass Panhellenic proposes a resolution on a term average GPA to reach as a panhellenic community of 3.15. Motion passes. New Business Announcements Sigma Sigma Sigma Annual Carrie- O-Ke Monday October 20 at Tower Inn from 5- 10 PM. There will be prizes and raffles! All proceeds go to the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation. Sigma Delta Tau- Selling purple OPI nail polish which is $10 a bottle the proceeds go to Domestic Violence Awareness. Lobby tables will be posted in the Greek Life page soon.
