Topics to think about for final class:
-what can be learned from thinking about competing theories of capitalism?
-what can be learned from thinking about various ethnographies of capitalism that we
read?
-how do we think about them in comparison to the other? What do we learn from each?
-what is potentially learned by thinking about capitalism in relation to its “others” , i.e.
various forms of socialism?
-What questions does thinking about financial crisis of 2008 as an ethnographic problem
raise for you?
-In your mind, what are most important issues moving forward in thinking about
“capitalism” as an issue?
