PRC Imaging Shares
1.
The Division of Information Technology provides file share services to store Permanent Record Card
(PRC) images on the PRC imaging shares.
2.
The Registrar shall assign the PRC imaging share group manager(s). The PRC group manager(s) shall
assign access to PRC images using the groups tool.
3.
At least once per year, the Registrar shall audit the current PRC Imaging Share access assignments within
the groups tool to assure that processes are removing unneeded access throughout the year.
4.
The folders may only be used to store files or data related to PRC imaging system processes. The PRC
imaging share is read/only.
5.
The PRC group manager(s) for these shares shall continue to work with the IT Systems Team to assure that
all future upgrades and patches continue to store images in the most space-optimized and acceptable file
format to conserve storage space for other projects.
6.
The PRC imaging folders are owned by I.T. with consultation of the data owner.
4.0 Responsibility for Implementation
The I.T. Director of Network and Systems Services and the Director of Enterprise Support are responsible for the
