Assignment 5:
Along the lines of our discussion today, think about a theme or story you might like to
present in photographs for the final review. Look back on all the photos you've taken so
far this term, and see what stands out. What do you enjoy the most? What kind of
photographs do you get the most out of? Try to form some basic idea of this story or
theme, and bring some photos to class for us to discuss. Your final project should be a
mix of photos from Assignments 1-3, as well as photos you take going forward, once you
have an idea of the theme. You may find that your first idea for a theme gets adjusted as
you start taking more photographs, and that you refine it as you go.
