1988: CIAI 88: Conference on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Business and Industry , Denton, Texas. Sponsored by the UNT
Information Systems Research Center; as conference chairman, I spent more than a year preparing for this event as principal organizer,
planner, and coordinator. About 180 people attended CIAI, from as far away as Finland, The conference generated much favorable publicity
for the ISRC, UNT, and the BCIS Department regionally, nationally, and internationally (exs., Singapore, India, and France).
