• Understand the design of Relational Databases:

Tables, Relationships, Cardinality, Normalization

• Understand how to use SQL and be able to form

Select, Modify, Delete, and Make Table queries.

• Understand the design issues in Data Warehousing and the components of the Star schema.

• Become familiar with some major and user-friendly

DBMS software, such as Access & ERDPlus.

Data Mart & a Financial Accounting Data Mart. Examples of star schemas in accounting and financial planning.
