Configure your personal / non-SEFS
laptop to print to SEFS copiers
If you have SEFS business related materials on a personally owned or non‐SEFS laptop, these instructions will help you print it on the SEFS copiers. The SEFS copiers are for SEFS business use only. One-Time or Occasional Use
The Xerox 4250 copiers have the ability to print from a USB drive or memory stick. It must be formatted for the FAT file system; FAT32, NTFS and HFS are NOT supported. File types that can be printed include Adobe Acrobat PDFs, TIFs, JPGs and Text files. Location of USB capable copiers

If you need to print more frequently you can download and install the print driver on your computer. You may need administrative credentials to successfully install a print driver. Download
Locate the printer you want to install on the following chart and click the link in the Model/Driver column. When the page opens select the “Web‐based Print Driver Install” if available for your OS. If not use the recommended driver, which is typically the first one in the list. Install
When you click the link above you be presented with an End User License Agreement (EULA). When you click agree the download will start. Choose to save the file, then run it. The installer will display discovered printers, but it may not discover the one you want. You can press the IP Address or DNS Name button and use the IP Address from Table 2 ‐ Printers to select the correct printer. When prompted, you should select the options in the following table. The following settings must be configured for successful printing. Please follow the link corresponding to the printer you’re configuring for each item and follow the directions.
