ALERT: There is a toner company phishing for departmental copier information.
This company attempts to trick you by saying they shipped out the wrong copier toner to
another on-campus department and instead of returning it, they will send the toner to you
and invoice at a later date. Tell the Caller “No Thank You”…and… Hang Up.
Prairie View A&M University has a Copier Agreement with Marimon Business Systems and
the Cost of Toner is built into the contract. Please communicate this warning to your team.
AVOID BECOMING A VICTIM!
* Have one individual be in charge of supply orders * Know who your supply representative is. * Get the specifics.
* Never give office equipment models and serial numbers over the phone.
