Having examined the Place of The Work and all matters referred to in the Instructions to Bidders and
the Contract Documents prepared by MMEC Architecture & Interiors pllc for the above mentioned
project, we, the undersigned, hereby offer to enter into a Contract to perform the Work for a Sum to
be computed as follows:

All amounts given to be in lawful money of the United States of America.
2.
All amounts to be written in words as well as figures where space is provided. In case of conflict,
amounts written in words shall govern.
3.
Bid amounts DO NOT include Washington State Sales and Use Tax (WSST).

The bid amount contains any work which requires trenching exceeding a depth of four feet, all costs for
trench safety shall be included in the Base Bid and indicated below for adequate trench safety systems in
compliance with Chapter 39.04 RCW, 49.17 RCW and WAC 296-155-650. Bidder must include a lump
sum dollar amount in blank below (even if value is $0.00) to be responsive.

1.07 ACCEPTANCE
A.
This offer shall be open to acceptance and is irrevocable for thirty days from the bid closing date.
B.
If this bid is accepted by Owner within the time period stated above, we will:
1. Execute the Agreement within seven days of receipt of Notice of Award.
2. Furnish the required bonds within seven days of receipt of Notice of Award.
3. Commence work within seven days after written Notice to Proceed of this bid.
C.
If this bid is accepted within the time stated, and we fail to commence the Work or we fail to provide
the required Bond(s), the security deposit shall be forfeited as damages to Owner by reason of our
failure, limited in amount to the lesser of the face value of the security deposit or the difference
between this bid and the bid upon which a Contract is signed.
D.
In the event our bid is not accepted within the time stated above, the required security deposit shall
be returned to the undersigned, in accordance with the provisions of the Instructions to Bidders;
unless a mutually satisfactory arrangement is made for its retention and validity for an extended
period of time.

1.08 CONTRACT TIME
A.
If this Bid is accepted, we will complete the Work in 430 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
B.
If the Work is not Substantially Complete within the Contract Time, Liquidated Damages will be
assessed in accordance with the General Conditions of the Contract as amended and bound into
these specifications.

List of Major Subcontractors (Required Attachment): Per RCW 39.30.060, if the base bid and the
sum of the additive alternates is one million dollars or more the bidder shall provide names of the
