DEAD-END FIRE APPARATUS ACCESS ROAD TURNAROUND
The NC Fire Code requires that dead-end fire apparatus access roads in excess of 150 feet in length shall be provided
with an approved area for turning around fire apparatus, and the required turning radius of a fire apparatus shall be
determined by the Mecklenburg Fire Marshal’s Office.
