1). Student Council's annual Dodgeball tournament will be held on March 11th. Grab your
friends, build a team, dodge, duck, and dive to support Saint Baldrick's!! Informational team
packets are available from Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Baltzersen. Tickets available this week.
2). Have you ordered a yearbook? Check the list outside the office to find out. Order online at
Jostensyearbooks.com. Time is running out!
3). Calling all track athletes. The season is now 1 week away. The first practice for 6th graders
is Thursday, March 10th. All grades will begin full practice on Monday, March 14th. In
order to participate, you must be registered on the 8 to 18 website and you must have a
current physical on file with the nurse. No exceptions, so take care of this now. We look
forward to another successful season! Students in the Lion King musical are excused from
tryouts and practice and should report to track on Monday, March 21st?"
4). Hola Chicos, El Club de Español /Spanish Club will meet on Wednesday, April 6th.
We will be celebrating CARNAVAL (Carnaval) in the Spanish room/A216. Join us from
2:30pm to 3:45pm. Chao.
5). Greeting Newspaper Mustang Leaders, everyone is welcome to participate in our school's
electronic newspaper. Join us on Tuesdays from 2:30pm to 3:35pm in room A216.
6). The next Top Techs Club meeting will be on tomorrow, March 9th, from 2:30-3:45pm in
Mrs. Aubert's Room A113.
7). Service Club meeting-today, March 8th from 2:30-3:30pm in Mrs. Heimsath's Room.
8). ATTENTION Law Enforcement Explorers! We have a meeting THIS AFTERNOON!
Sorry for the late notice - We will be gathering in A103 again - bring your running shoes for PT.

9). Come out to the Marlowe Dance Club’s first "Family Night," this Wednesday, March 9th from
4:00-5:00pm and watch them perform in the gym/

PARENT ANNOUNCEMENT
If you have the PowerSchool application on your cell phone and have opted in to receive
notifications, you may receive an alert saying your student is absent for certain periods. If your child
is absent and you have already called the absentee line prior to the alert, you do not have to call the
absentee line again. Your student's attendance will be updated. If you have not called in your child's
attendance, please call the absentee line at 847-659-4711. If you prefer to not receive this attendance alert
notification, you can deactivate it through the mobile app by going to Settings > Notifications > uncheck
Attendance; this should cancel the notifications.
