Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and
consulting engineer, Dewberry Engineers, continue
with the design phase for the Tattersall Storm Drainage
Improvement Project. The project goals are to improve
storm drainage infrastructure, reduce erosion and
reduce flooding of streets and structures.

Design work includes locating utilities, verifying pipe
clearances, creating computer generated maps and
resolving utility and pipe conflicts. Dewberry Engineers
is working on the preliminary design plans. Once the
preliminary design plans are submitted, City staff will
