Shadowlake Pond
storm drainage improvement project
YOUR STORM WATER FEES AT WORK
December 2012
Dear Resident:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services has obtained
all easements for the Shadowlake Pond project.
The design phase continues. Personnel from the Project
Team may still be working in the area collecting information
necessary to complete the design. Armstrong Glen,
consulting engineer, has begun preparing the permit
applications. Once the construction drawings are complete
and all permits have been obtained, the project will begin
the bid phase. This project is currently on schedule to begin
construction next winter.
The recent construction activity between the pond and
Ryder Avenue is related to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility
Department (CMUD) sanitary sewer rehabilitation project.
Please contact Chris Allen, CMUD project manager, at
704-391-5131 or callen@ci.charlotte.nc.us for questions
related to the sanitary sewer project.
