Shadowlake Pond storm drainage improvement project YOUR STORM WATER FEES AT WORK December 2012 Dear Resident: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services has obtained all easements for the Shadowlake Pond project. The design phase continues. Personnel from the Project Team may still be working in the area collecting information necessary to complete the design. Armstrong Glen, consulting engineer, has begun preparing the permit applications. Once the construction drawings are complete and all permits have been obtained, the project will begin the bid phase. This project is currently on schedule to begin construction next winter. The recent construction activity between the pond and Ryder Avenue is related to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility Department (CMUD) sanitary sewer rehabilitation project.
