UNDER CONSTRUCTION NIGHTINGALE L ANE STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Dear Resident: February 2010 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services is preparing to start the third phase of construction on the Nightingale Lane Storm Drainage Improvement Project. United Construction is approaching the end of the second phase of the project which included the sections of stream and pipe installation downstream of Kingfisher Drive. There are a few sections of channel (near Kingfisher Drive and Crows Nest Lane) still left to complete. The pipe placement along Flat Iron Road, Timbercrest Circle, Vista Canyon Drive, Park Vista Circle, Blue Heron Drive and Park Road are complete. Phase 3 of the project will include work between Kingfisher Drive and Osprey Drive. The work will consist of stream bank stabilization and pipe placement heading towards NC 51. Please use caution while driving in the neighborhood and follow the detour signs. Construction mailers will be sent approximately every four months.
