your storm water fees at work
Dear Resident:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and
consulting engineer, Land Design, Inc., have begun the
design phase for the Mary Alexander Storm Drainage
Improvement Project. Design work includes locating
utilities, verifying pipe clearances, creating computer
generated maps and resolving any utility/pipe conflicts.
For more information
about this project,
please visit our website
stormwater.charmeck.org
and click on Storm Water
Projects dropdown menu
in the green bar, then
Active Projects and Mary
Alexander.
Representatives from the Project Team may need to
enter your property to collect additional survey data
on the existing storm drainage system. While State law
authorizes access to private property for this purpose,
no buildings or structures will be entered or disturbed.
The survey work is scheduled to begin this month and
may take several weeks to complete.
