Easement Acquisition is the biggest schedule driver, the sooner all the easements are donated, the sooner construction will begin. If the City cannot get all the necessary easements, then the City will be unable to perform the work and preserve the pond. John Schrum, Water Sources Engineer, added that the dam is currently failing. Storm Water Services can fix the problem and pay for the repairs, but we will need to lower the normal pool elevation. After construction, the pond will be restocked with fingerling fish. A question/answer session was held.
