Meeting highlights:
• Project Manager Steven McCraney welcomed the
attendees, introduced the project team and gave a
project summary.
• McCraney explained that there were 56 total requests
reported to 311 including issues such as inadequate
and deteriorating infrastructure, road flooding,
structural flooding, old culverts, sink holes, and
erosion/blockages in streams.
• Russell Parker from Armstrong Glen, presented the
work performed to assess the drainage systems and
summarized the findings of the study by highlighting
problems found in the project area.

Dear Resident:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held its
first public meeting on Tuesday, May 6, at Beatties Ford
Road Regional Library. The purpose of the meeting was to
discuss the results of the existing conditions analysis.

s Design (21 to 34 months)
s Permitting (9 months)
s Easement Acquisition ( 12 months
s Bid and Award ( 5 to 6 months)
s Construction (1 to 2 years)
