Hill Street storm drainage improvement project YOUR STORM WATER FEES AT WORK November 2012 Dear Resident, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services has been working with Dewberry and Davis, Inc., to finalize the survey data on the existing storm drainage system and start the planning phase. The first step is to utilize the survey data to evaluate the existing storm drainage system and determine the location of deficiencies. Thank you to the property owners who have completed and sent in questionnaires. These help us identify additional areas of concern that will need improvement. Typical areas of concern may include channel erosion, flooding and infrastructure failures. If you have any problems with flooding due to street water of infrastructure failures please call the Storm Water Services’ hotline at 311.
