Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held
its first public meeting on January 10 at Eastern Hills
Baptist Church to present the existing conditions for
the Greenhaven Storm Drainage Improvement Project.
Meeting highlights:
• Project Manager Harold Smith introduced
the project team and consultants. Smith also
discussed the project goals and presented general
information on Capital Improvement Projects.
• Karl Dauber, Project Manager for our design
consultant Parsons-Brinckerhoff, explained the
existing drainage system as well as the deficiencies
and variances from City Design Standards. Areas
of deficiency were identified as the channel
