Woolworths Insurance launches Car and Travel products Monday, 6 August 2012: Woolworths Insurance will today launch Car and Travel Insurance products that are designed to meet customers’ needs with simple and better value cover. Woolworths Car Insurance and Woolworths Travel Insurance add to the Life and Pet Insurance products that were launched in August 2011. Woolworths will also launch Home and Contents Insurance in the coming months. The core comprehensive product includes new-for-old replacement within the first 12 months, emergency travel and accommodation costs and cover for personal property and valuables damaged in an accident. There are optional extras such as an extension of new-for-old replacement by an additional year and Roadside Assistance. Everyday Rewards members who take out Woolworths Car Insurance will have the opportunity to turbo-charge their fuel discounts and save an extra 4 cents a litre on fuel for 12 months. Furthermore, customers who purchase online will receive additional savings. Woolworths Travel Insurance Woolworths Travel Insurance offers Basic and Comprehensive cover as well as an annual multi-trip policy for frequent travellers. Comprehensive Travel Insurance provides unlimited cover for overseas medical and hospital expenses for our customers as well as cover for cancellation and amendment fees, any lost or damaged luggage and personal belongings, theft of cash and loss of travel documents and credit cards. Children and dependants are covered for free in both Basic and Comprehensive policies.
