Donate to Salvos NZ Earthquake appeal at
Woolworths checkouts
All Woolworths supermarkets and Dick Smith stores are accepting donations
through the checkout for the Salvation Army’s Canterbury Earthquake Appeal.
Customers can donate at regular and self service checkouts with the amount added
to their transaction. All donations over $2 receive a tax acknowledgement on the
shopper docket.
As of today, donations to the Salvation Army made in-store will be directed to the
NZ earthquake appeal. The Salvation Army flood appeal has now concluded with
more than $17 million raised and donated.
Woolworths operates a number of Countdown supermarkets and Dick Smith stores
in Canterbury/Christchurch. Our thoughts are with staff and customers during this
devastating time.
