STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Dear Resident:
October 2013
Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’
Robinhood/Dooley Storm Drainage Improvement Project.
Ferebee has installed new and larger storm drainage pipe under the
road at Lake Forest Drive and Eastbourne Road. New storm pipe has also
been installed up Eastbourne and much of Woodbridge Road between
Eastbourne and Rolling Hill Road. To accommodate this storm pipe several
hundred feet of waterline had to be relocated. Concrete curb and gutter is
being installed and the pavement patched, with full roadway resurfacing to
follow when the entire area is complete.
A portion of Robinhood Circle near Harri-Ann Drive will be closed
temporarily in the near future while rock is removed under the roadway
area to accommodate the installation of a larger culvert for the stream.
Other upcoming work includes additional storm pipe installations along
Lake Forest Drive in the area of Rolling Hill Road.
For more information about this project, please visit our website to view

Water Projects drop down menu in the green bar, then Active Projects and

Concrete curb and gutter is being installed
along Woodbridge Road.
