Statement from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Director Debra Campbell
I am proud of my 26 years of service for the people of Charlotte. I have always demonstrated the
highest level of professionalism and integrity since being employed by the City of Charlotte. The values
I hold for myself and my department are honesty, impeccable character and integrity. I expect my staff
to adhere to these values no matter who the customer is. We always strive to deliver exemplary
customer service. When a customer calls, we do our best to respond in a timely manner and provide
accurate information. I will continue to do my best for this city each day and I will cooperate with all
requests from the U.S. Attorney and Federal investigators.
