Cagle previously served as Assistant Aviation Director of Administration and Finance for CLT. In this role, he oversaw the Administration and Finance department, including management of personnel and all accounting functions—such as fixed assets, accounts payable, and financial controls/compliance. He has also assisted in the department’s application and ongoing management processes for the Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) program insuring that federal requirements are followed. Prior to joining CLT administration, Cagle was the Deputy Aviation Director for the Aviation Department of the City of Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport), where he was responsible for supervising the Financial Management Division, overseeing the development of the airline rates and charges budget, and coordinating the department’s $200 million annual operating budget. Cagle also has over 17 years of experience in various municipal government roles, such as Internal Auditor for the City of Phoenix and Research Analyst for the City of Waco, TX. He received his bachelor’s degree in English – Professional and Technical Writing and Environmental Studies at Baylor University. He also earned a Master of Public Administration from Texas Tech University.
