Following is Addendum No. 1 to the Specification for Signs Bid #2015-35 for Consolidated School District
158.

Addendum Number One Items
1. A bid bond will not be required for a complete bid.
2. Performance and payments bond shall not be required as a part of this bid.
3. Delete item “i.” from the special requirements section of the Special Requirements for signs titled “A.
Interior Identification Devices – Sign Type A, B, E, J, and G”. The bid price shall not include hallway
directions signs.
4. Replace the text in the Material/Fabrication for the Base Materials section for all signs titled “A. Interior
Identification Devices – Sign Type A, B, E, J, and G” with the following:
“Base material: base material shall be Acrylic Polymer with color embedded in material(; not surface
applied paint color) with chemically welded characters and graphics with raised text and grade 2
braille.
a. total thickness: 1/8 inch
b. height: varies - see details sheets later in this specification
c. width: varies - see details sheets later in this specification
d. edges: square with 1/4" radius at corners
e. color: to be selected by District 158 from manufacturer's standard color line?”
