DeAlva Wilson Glenn is Founder and CEO of the D. Wilson
Agency, a management consulting and professional development firm with offices in Charlotte and Washington, DC. She is the
Principal Consultant and an Internationally Certified Executive
Coach.
Under Glenn’s leadership, the agency developed a strong network of Consultants and Executive Coaches that serve clients nationwide. D. Wilson Agency offers a different brand of solutions for solving business and career challenges. The agency’s approach is a reflection of Glenn’s passion for transformational engagements that elevate success for organizations and individuals. Interested in providing a comprehensive approach to professional development and ensuring lasting change, Glenn created the highly successful programs Purposeful Leadership© and Playbook for Purposeful
Living + Wellness©. She has trained thousands through conferences, corporate training and public speaking.
Glenn launched D. Wilson Agency to support professional athletes with strategic planning, professional development and long-term career planning. Since inception, the agency’s client list has grown to include leaders and organizations from several industries: financial services, communications, energy, arts & culture, social services, higher education and healthcare.
Previously, her career spanned 19+ years in financial services with
Fortune 100 companies where she held significant responsibility in senior leadership and executive roles focused on creating and implementing strategic vision in technology, operations, customer experience, strategy development, marketing and leadership development. Her hallmarks are strategic vision, a drive to connect people and resources, passion for the success of others and a resolute ability to deliver.
A graduate of the Harvard Management Development Program,
Glenn has an Accounting degree and MBA from Winthrop
University. She received an Executive Coaching certification from the University of Georgia and is also certified through the
International Coaching Federation. Additional certifications include the Bridges Out of Poverty Train the Trainer certification and a Six
Sigma Green Belt.
Glenn has been active in the community through board positions for several nonprofit organizations. In addition, the Charlotte City
Council appointed her to the city’s Business Advisory Committee.
Her personal philosophy of a balanced life that includes giving back to the community is reflected in the authenticity and passion with which she runs the D. Wilson Agency.
She is based in Charlotte and enjoys spending time with her son, yoga, golf, and travel.
