Victor Valley Community College Training Announcement HAZ-MAT first responder operationAL - WMD Description: This course trains First Responders at the Operations level to recognize the presence of a nuclear, biological or chemical weapon, determine what authorities to notify and identify defensive actions they can take to protect themselves and the public. The course emphasizes the use of agent appearance and victim symptoms to rapidly identify the potential presence of a nuclear, biological or chemical weapon. Class participants will learn about specialized response resources available for such an incident and how they can access those resources.
