Mohibul Islam1*, Sajib Kumar Sikder2 and Md. Sahab Uddin3 Aggregate production planning (APP) is the intermediate range capacity planning to meet the forecasted demand. The main target of APP is meeting the forecasted demand based on minimum cost. Forecasted demand, related operating cost and capacity are considered precise for solving the APP problem for a particular time period. The proposed approach attempts to minimize total costs with reference to inventory levels, labor levels, overtime, subcontracting levels, and labor, machine and warehouse capacity. The three different models are used to calculate the total costs with the data collected from a typical garments manufacturing company Limited”. Finally compare the total cost among the three models and determined the best one for solving APP problem at considered environment.
