CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 1:20 p.m. by Debra Blanchard,
Chairperson.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Debra Blanchard, Chairperson, Ron Fields, Lisa Harvey, Leslie
Huiner, Pam James, Scott Jones, Alice Ramming
MEMBERS ABSENT:
Carol Delong, Patty Golder, Mike McCracken

MINUTES:
Minutes will be distributed at a later date.
AUTOMOTIVE:
It was MSC (Fields/Huiner) to approve as corrected AUTO 96
Applied Technical Mathematics and Measuring Instrumentation as
a new course.
HEALTH:
It was MSC (Huiner/Jones) to approve the course update for
HLTH 102 Contemporary Problems in Personal and Community
Health.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND
LANGUAGE:
It was MSC (Jones/Ramming) to approve as corrected ESL12B
Basic Computer Literacy.
It was MSC (Harvey/Jones) to act on AENG 10.2A High
Beginning Listening and Speaking. It was MSC (Fields/Jones) to
table AENG 10.2A.
PHYSICAL SCIENCES:
It was MSC (Harvey/Huiner) to approve as corrected the course
update for ASTR 101 Descriptive Astronomy.
It was MS (Fields/Jones) to act on the course update for GEOL 101
Physical Geology. Motion was tabled.
It was MSC (James/Harvey) to act on OCEA 101, Oceanography,
course update. It was MSC (Fields/Jones) to table OCEA 101.
POLITICAL SCIENCE:
It was MSC (Fields/Huiner) to act POLS 221D, Model United
Nations D. It was MSC (Fields/Harvey) to table POLS 221D.
OTHER:
Lisa Harvey updated the Committee on the status of TRAKDAT.
Debby Blanchard distributed a list of courses missing SLO’s from
CurricUNET and stated there were discrepancies in the list and
asked the Committee to look at all the courses on the list to
determine if the SLO’s were missing.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
