Learn about the clinics planned for Pro Bono Month. To participate in the
clinics you will need to be Rule 13 certified. Monique Prince will be at the

Pro Bono Kick Off with MO Supreme Court Judge Paul Wilson, Courtroom
Judge Wilson ’92 will speak about the importance of pro bono work.

perspective or career component credit will be offered. This event is cosponsored by the Equal Justice Law Association.

Pro Bono Month Speaker Series: Post-Trial Criminal Work, Room 6
Alumna Amy Lorenz-Moser '00, an attorney with Armstrong Teasdale and
appointee to the ABA's Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public
Service, will talk about her pro bono post-trial criminal work that began
here as a student when she participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic.
Pizza will be provided, so please RSVP through Symplicity. Professional

Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care Clinic Training Session for 3Ls,
Tech Suite, Michael Matthews ’12 from Mid-Missouri Legal Aid will train
students participating in the Pro Bono Durable Power of Attorney for
Health Care Clinics in Columbia, Fulton, and Jefferson City (attendance is
mandatory for participation in the clinics).

Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care Clinic at Oak Towers, 700 N.
Garth Ave., Columbia, MO. Residents will hear a presentation and
afterwards Rule 13 Law students will assist residents in filling out Durable
Power of Attorneys for Health Care.
Fri., Oct. 4, 11:30 am-12:30 pm Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care Informational Table at Fulton
Senior Center, 531 Commons Drive, Fulton, MO. Students are needed to
talk with seniors about the upcoming Power of Attorney Clinic, hand out
brochures, and explain the process. If interested contact Tyler Levsen.

Uncontested Divorce Clinic, Mid-Missouri Legal Services, 1201 W.
Broadway, Columbia, MO. Students will be instructed on how to fill out the
state form, as well as how to work with clients. At 1:00 the clients will begin
to arrive. Rule 13 is required and students must sign up in advance.

will talk about her firm's pro bono projects and how Mizzou Law students
could potentially get involved. Pizza will be provided, so RSVP is required.
