Automatic Long Term EMF
Measurement System
 1992 Germany introduced the so-called „site
procedure“
 calculated evaluation of emissions from radio
transmitters
 relevant for transmitter having an EIRP equal
or greater 10 W
 covered frequency range
„9 kHZ -300 GHz“
Automatic Long Term EMF
Measurement System
 Since 1992 additional to the „site procedure“
three nationwide measurement campaigns were
made across Germany by technical staff from
the Federal Network Agency
 Alongside the site procedure the measurements
ensures the protection of persons exposed to
electromagnetic fields
 Often the wish for an „automated measurement
System“ arised
Automatic Long Term EMF
Measurement System
 in 2007 the Federal Network Agency
introduced 12 piece portable „automated
measurement system“
 the system is carrying out, frequency selektiv measurements in the range from 9
KHz – 3 GHz
 the distributed „ draft Technical Report, gives
detailed information about the „Automatic
Long Term Measurement System“
