You can use any stories you have started this school year as a starting point. Books are due Feb. 26th and must include your first and last name, team, and grade. Order online at Jostensyearbooks.com. Time is running out! 3). During the month of February, show your love for cats and dogs by bringing in items for the Huntley Animal House Shelter. Items needed include cat and dog food, towels, blankets leashes and collars. Donations will be collected in your advisory classes February 1-22. The advisory with the most donations will win a pizza party! 4). Come out and support the Marlowe boys wrestling team on today, Feb. 4th at 4:00pm as they take on the Nippersinks. 5). The Marlowe’s girl basketball team is playing against Beardsley on Monday, Feb. 8th at 4:00pm in the Marlowe gym. Come show your support. 6). During the week of February 8-11 you will be able to purchase a can of Crush during lunch for one dollar. All proceeds for this sale will go to St. Baldricks. Let's Crush cancer!!! 7). Students, Mrs. Burkhalter is now fitting students for Performance Readings 2016--"Believe". If you want to be involved you need to get an information form and be fitted for your costume now. PARENT ANNOUNCEMENT If you have the PowerSchool application on your cell phone and have opted in to receive notifications, you may receive an alert saying your student is absent for certain periods. If your child is absent and you have already called the absentee line prior to the alert, you do not have to call the absentee line again. Your student's attendance will be updated. If you have not called in your child's attendance, please call the absentee line at 847-659-4711. If you prefer to not receive this attendance alert notification, you can deactivate it through the mobile app by going to Settings > Notifications > uncheck Attendance; this should cancel the notifications.
