This addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents dated April 14, 2016. Acknowledge
receipt of this Addendum on the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may result
in disqualification of Bid.
This Addendum consists of two (2) typed sheets and attachments:
Sheets: A1.53, A2.01, A2.03 and A3.01
PROJECT MANUAL
1. SPECIFICATION SECTION 01 11 00 SUMMARY OF THE WORK
A. ADD Paragraph 1.07(D) as follows:
“D. Immediately prior to starting work, the Owner will document the existing
conditions of the building exterior and site photographically, paying particular
attention to existing areas of damage. These photographs will be used to
determine damages to the building and site caused by construction operations. The
Contractor shall repair any and all damages to the building or site attributable to
their construction operations.
2. SPECIFICATION SECTION 04 01 20 MASONRY REPAIRS
A. At Paragraph 2.02 (A)(1)(b):
1) DELETE manufacturer information at Brick No. 1 and Brick No. 2.
2) ADD the following note: “The Owner will provide all Facing Brick as required for
this Project for installation by the Contractor. The Owner will have the Facing
Brick delivered to a single location at ground level of each building site agreeable
to both the Owner and Contractor.”
B. At Paragraph 2.02 (A)(2)(b):
1) DELETE manufacturer information at Split-Face Concrete Block.

2) ADD the following note: “The Owner will provide all Split-Face Concrete Block for
this Project for installation by the Contractor. The Owner will have the Split-Face
Concrete Block delivered to a single location at ground level on the building site
agreeable to both the Owner and Contractor.”
C. ADD Paragraph 2.02 (A)(3) as follows:
“3. Smooth-Face Concrete Block
a. Quality:
1. Hollow loadbearing units: ASTM C90, Grade N-1, normal weight. Type I.
2. Concrete building brick: ASTM C55, Grade N, normal weight. Type I.
b. Prism strength: f'm = 1,500 psi.
c. Shapes: Provide plain shapes in dimensions as required.”
D. ADD Paragraph 3.06 (Q) as follows:
“Q. At locations where new veneer units will be concealed behind new or existing roof
membranes, provide smooth-face concrete block in lieu of brick or split-face block.
Field-coordinate locations.”
