First Aid Measures
General measures:
Skin contact: Immediately wash with plenty of water and non-abrasive soap and afterwards
cover the irritated skin with an emollient. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Serious skin contact: Wash with a disinfectant soap and cover the contaminated skin with
an anti-bacterial cream. Seek immediate medical attention.
Eye contact: Remove any contact lenses and immediately flush eyes with running water for
at least 15 minutes, keeping eyelids open. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. Do not induce
vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention.
Serious ingestion: Not Applicable
Inhalation: Allow the victim to rest in a well ventilated area. Seek immediate medical
attention.
Serious inhalation: Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband and move
the victim to a safe area as soon as possible. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen and if
the victim is not breathing, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Seek medical attention.

Products of Combustion: These products are carbon oxides (CO, CO2).
Fire Hazards in Presence of Various Substances: Highly flammable in the presence of
open flames and sparks, heat, and oxidising materials.
Explosion Hazards in Presence of Various Substances: Not Applicable
Fire fighting media and Instructions: Use dry chemical powder for small fire and alcohol
foam, spray or fog for large fire.
Special Remarks on Fire Hazards: When vapour is exposed to flame or heat it may travel a
considerable distance to source of ignition and flash back. When heated to decomposition it
emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes. CAUTION: MAY BURN WITH NEAR INVISIBLE
FLAME
Special Remarks on Explosion Hazards: Not Applicable
6.
Accidental Release Measures
NB: Wear appropriate protective equipment/clothing including gloves before removing
any spills.
Small Spill: Dilute with water and mop up or absorb with an inert dry material.
Large Spill: Stop leak if without risk by absorbing with DRY earth, sand or other noncombustible material.
7.
Handling and Storage
Precautions: Keep away from sources of ignition such as heat and incompatibles. Wear
appropriate respirator in case of poor ventilation.
Storage: Keep in a tightly closed container which is stored in a cool, well-ventilated area
separate from sources of ignition.
