FDIB Green Business: Australia has been designed specifically for faculty from business, engineering, economics, and international studies. The program will provide the participants an in-depth understanding of how Australian universities, government, and businesses are flourishing and leading the way in innovation and technology relative to sustainability. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore Australia’s unique cultural heritage and witness the sustainable use of the limited resources of the Australian landscape.
The program comprises of lectures, discussion sessions, company visits and cultural excursions. Participants will have the opportunity to network with academics and business leaders of green and sustainable businesses. Speakers will be drawn from business, government, mass media, and academics.
This program is an eye-opening experience to understand how Australia is incorporating sustainable development strategies for environmental and economical well being.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Australia. All participants must obtain a Visa to visit Australia. Most participants will be able to use the online travel authorization process at https://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ETA/etas.jsp and receive instant confirmation. However obtaining a Visa may take two or three weeks, so the process should be started immediately upon confirmation of registration.

January 4, 2016, and should plan to depart from Brisbane,

Participants who choose this option will fly with the rest of the group from Sydney to Brisbane. If you long for an experience where you can get away from pretentious ‘name-brand Resorts with little substance’ and really interact with the tidal zone and the underwater water world of the Great Barrier Reef on your own terms then Lady Elliot Island is for you. For more information visit: www.ladyelliot.com.au .
