Duties to include, but are not limited to: scan documents; answer phones; greet customers; data entry; post payroll items; prepare office correspondence; office organization and filing; schedule meetings; process mail; maintain system records; complete miscellaneous forms and orders; special projects; and assist with event planning. Provide backup support for the human resources office staff. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications*: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in classes at Lakeshore Technical College. Prefer a first year student within the Business & Technology program area. Prior customer service experience in an office setting beneficial. Required skills include proficiency in spelling, grammar, and proof reading; skilled in typing/keyboarding; skilled in mail merging; working knowledge of Word & Excel 2013; working knowledge of utilizing and searching the Internet; take initiative; and possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills. Ability to work with and maintain confidential information. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are a must. Must be dependable and professional.
