Duties to include, but not limited to; assist with equipment placement, asset management, and inventory documentation. Support daily operation in the classroom, and learning classroom including connections to remote sites. Create documentation and procedures for installations and updates. Assist with departmental upkeep and organization. Help users with basic computer and software problems. Assist with equipment setup for college events. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in classes at Lakeshore Technical College. Prefer a first year student within the Technology program area. Must be people-focused, accurate, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are a must. Required skills include proficiency in spelling, grammar, and proof reading; skilled in typing/keyboarding; working knowledge of MS Word & Excel 2010 & 2013; working knowledge of utilizing and searching the Internet. Ability to lift up to 25lbs. Prior customer service and computer support experience preferred. Ability to work with and maintain confidential information. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.
